Registered Nurse - R.N. - SNF - Full-Time Evening Shift/64 - 80 hours in a pay period

Position: Full -Time - Evening Shift. Hours are 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. Depending on our schedule needs, there may be 64, 72 or 80 hours per pay period positions available. Please inquire upon interview and request preferences. Schedules include every other weekend and every other holiday.

The RN unit nurse is responsible for managing all aspects of our resident's medical care including medication pass, treatments, assessing change of condition, and managing the workflow on the unit collaborating with the certified nursing assistants, other departments, and medical professionals, to deliver care that meets the needs of the residents and exceeds their expectations.

Responsibilities Include:

Oversee all areas of resident medical needs, change of condition, and care follow-up

Implement resident care plans & educate staff on changes

Medication pass, treatments, evaluate for change of condition

Supervision of the nursing assistants on the unit fostering a teamwork approach

Work in collaboration with team members, resident, practitioners, and family members

Provide direct care to residents as needed

Responsible for timely and accurate charting in the Point Click Care medical record

Current RN license in the State of Wisconsin

Current CPR certification or ability to obtain prior to employment

Reliability: Must be punctual, have reliable attendance, and a good work ethic

Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Team Collaboration: Interpersonal skills and the ability to work and contribute to a positive team dynamic

Professional Representation: Maintain a professional demeanor and deliver exceptional customer service while representing the St. Joseph Residence organization and communities

Standard Schedule: Requires every other weekend and alternating holiday schedule
