Work hours\: Full Time, (3) 12 hour shifts 6\:45a-7\:15p - Rotating Weekends/Holidays; Team members may be placed on call for regularly scheduled shifts in response to census fluctuations.

· Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team

· The unit will initially open with 20 beds, with plans to expand to the full 36 beds later in the year.

· The General Surgical Nurse provides care to a wide variety of post op patients including\: complex gastro-intestinal, urology and colorectal surgeries with an average length of stay of approximately five days.

· Opportunity to work on a brand- new unit in the beautiful Justin Tower
