Work hours\: Full-time, 36 hours weekly, 3-12 hours shifts, 7\:00 pm – 7\:00 am

Department highlights\:

• 28-bed Medical PCU department
• Intermediate level of care to a wide variety of medical patients at a 3\:1 patient to nurse ratio.
• This patient population requiring specialized monitoring and interventions, includes patient diagnosis such as\: diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA), respiratory compromised patients that require specialized equipment including continuous respiratory interventions, home ventilation systems, and tracheostomy care, multi-system organ failure, respiratory distress, sepsis, hematology, GI Bleeds, Renal/Liver Failure, Acid-Base and Electrolyte Imbalances, and cardiac abnormalities.
• Medication management includes continuous and titratable IV medications to support the intermediate care population.
