Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor (Night Shift)

Location: Trillium Place

Compensation: $47.50 – $50.00 / hourly

Current Opening:

• Part-Time: 64 hours per biweekly pay period, working Monday through Thursday from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with no weekend requirement.

• POOL: As-needed position with a minimum monthly shift requirement in accordance with the POOL Staffing Policy.

The Registered Nurse Supervisor is to manage all staff on assigned floor(s) pertaining to all issues on a twenty-four hour basis to ensure that quality nursing care is provided. The Registered Nurse Supervisor position is performed in accordance with TANDEM LIVING Core Values, Mission Statement, and regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Current and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania (PA).

• Must possess a current CPR certification or obtain certification upon hire.

• Two (2) to four (4) years of related supervisory experience and/or training. Preferably in a skilled nursing or retirement facility.

• Basic computer skills needed. Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Word and Outlook.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Recognizes and responds to significant changes in resident condition including adverse signs and symptoms. Provides leadership in any emergency.

• Implements and or assists as necessary with nursing procedures that may include: IV’s, Mantoux tests and Finger stick Blood Sugar’s (logs/controls), coordinates call to Physicians, ensures all aspects of death procedures are completed.

• Ensures TANDEM LIVING staffing levels are maintained and met; responsible to find relief staff for unscheduled absences.

• Addresses staff concerns in assigned areas throughout the shift as necessary; resolves staff problems in consultation with the ADON/DON. Acts as a resource for and to LPNs.

• Ensures nursing care is performed in accordance with physician orders and care plan. Performs resident care as needed to maintain quality services.
