Registered Respiratory Therapist

Location: Kyle, TX

Facility: Seton Medical Center Hays

Department: Sleep Disorders

Schedule: Rotating shift | PRN

• Support clinical therapy: Assist therapists with daily respiratory care procedures to ensure safe, effective patient treatment.
• Maintain equipment readiness: Inspect, maintain and troubleshoot equipment to ensure every device is fully operational and safe for clinical use.
• Manage clinical supplies: Track and restock supply inventory to keep therapy spaces fully equipped for seamless patient care.
• Coordinate safety and sanitation: Prepare and sanitize treatment areas while logging routine equipment maintenance to uphold rigorous health standards.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Respiratory Care Practitioner credentialed from the Texas Respiratory Care Practitioners Certification Program obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Respiratory Care Practitioner provisional/temporary license will be accepted until license is issued.
• Respiratory Therapist specializing in Registered credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
