Summary

Manages student academic records, attendance, and compliance tasks for a university, including transcript processing and SEVIS reporting.

Registrar: Responsibilities include but are not limited to: serving as custodian of student academic records; assuring the proper entry, storage, retrieval, mailing, and maintenance of all academic records of the University.

The Registrar is responsible for the following:

  • Monitor student status in school
  • Monitor and input student attendance
  • Certify and monitor VA students- attendance, GPA, course load, transfer credits
  • Register and monitor international students with SEVIS (USCIS)
  • Manage and maintain all student files
  • Compile and distribute weekly report (grades, population, AI/LOA returns, etc.)
  • Complete official student transcript request processing
  • Ensure onsite student grades are reported and entered into CampusVue, ensure term upload of online grades, monitor Incomplete grades, and grade changes
  • Ensure all course offerings are built correctly in CampusVue
  • Process Incomplete contracts, status changes, change of grade forms, change of start date forms, and cancel forms
  • Send student letters pertaining to: Incomplete contract, probation, suspension, dismissal, attendance, and failing grades
  • Verify enrollment status of students
  • Complete student file audits
  • Assist and inform students with regard to Academic Interrupts (AI) and Leave of Absence (LOA)
  • Assist Dean of Academics and Department Chairs by answering questions for faculty/staff/students regarding academic matters
  • Assist in contacting students for retention purposes
  • Ensure accuracy of & maintain all student records in CampusVue academic records
  • Make sure all status changes are completed in CampusVue
  • Ensure unofficial transfer credits (T*) are changed to official transfer credits (T) once the official transcripts are received

Registrars must have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree and academic experience.

Weekly hours: 8:30am-5:30pm or 11:00am-8:00pm and must be able to work Saturdays
