How You Will Make an Impact
The Registrar is responsible for information processing of student enrollments in accordance with school policy. This Position will interface with various departments and personnel to provide information concerning student records and school program completion. This position reports to the Principal or designee.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

- Interpret transcripts of incoming students (e.g., cume folders, record card, withdraw grades from previous school, fines/fees from previous school, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring their conformance with school grading, curriculum, and course credit systems.
- Verify credits earned to fulfill graduation requirements.
- Enter all necessary information into student information database (i.e., Test scores, immunizations, court documents, records)
- Maintain records of students completed coursework including grades, grade changes, academic achievements, and student materials.
- Assist Teachers with information for student academic planning.
- Inform Administrators, Counselor, or assigned Teacher of possible student credit deficiencies and/or unusual placements for the purpose of ensuring student success.
- Liaison between schools to procure relevant student records/files.
- Act as primary designee for student attendance reporting
- Participate in attendance intervention committee for students.
- Conduct pre-enrollment interviews with new students and parents.
- Process requests from students, other districts, colleges/universities and/or employment agencies (e.g., transcripts, job verification, etc.) for the purpose of providing requested information.
- Complete and maintain forms required by the Department of Children Social Services, State Disability, adult programs, and other related agencies.
- Compile student data.
- Prepare general, statistical, and special reports for management.
- Communicate student or parent concerns to school staff (i.e., Teacher, Counselor) and school leadership.
- Attend student and school events (i.e., Graduation, Open House); assist with event planning and implementation.
- Keep current with school policies and programs.
- Participate in staff meetings and staff development as requested.
- Perform administrative duties, responsibilities, and activities as assigned. These may be changed or modified from time to time.
