Project description

The Cruise Project represents a collection of applications centered around deal management within the bank: various operations that can be performed on a deal, management of the companies involved in a deal, as well as the individuals who have access to a deal based on their role. The Global Compliance Control Room (GCCR) is a Compliance function made up of regional teams, acting under a globally applicable KOD, responsible for the Policy for Using and Handling Client Confidential, Deutsche Bank Proprietary and Inside Information. GCCR carry out a range of procedures to support the Bank's control environment designed to prevent and detect insider dealing and misuse of Inside Information. CRUISe is the Bank-wide risk control application for information barrier management, restriction management, and conflict management. It is a highly critical application, and its primary users are Global Compliance Control Room. The following functions are carried out in the application: Control Room: Managing the Residual, Watch and Restricted List Control Room: Maintaining a Wall Crossing Log Control Room: Conducting Research Clearance Research Supervisory Analysts (SA’s): Performing Watch and Restricted List searches for a pre-published report Group Owners: Maintain Information Barriers groups up to date Data Distribution by CRUISe: Distributing the Watch and Restricted List, Information Barrier to other compliance applications Data Distribution by CRUISe: Distributing the Restricted List to other intermediary/downstream applications From January 2026, mandatory office attendance - 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for design and delivery of key baseline components as well as future state components to transform AFC technology within Deutsche Bank into an industry leader
  • Working closely with Product Managers and Architects to understand business requirements and solution vision to chart out a viable delivery path
  • Ensuring all software development follows best practice tools and methodologies and is delivered using all relevant bank standards
  • Participation in all Agile ceremonies
  • Maintaining project technical infrastructure (continuous integration, automated deployment)
  • Peer review, mentoring
  • Bug fixing, unit testing

SKILLS

Must have

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a QA Manual role. Experience in testing back-end APIs. Knowledge of whitebox/blackbox testing. Knowledge of message queues - Nice to have. Basic automation and scripting skills. Ability to interpret a system architecture. Ability to create various testing scenarios. Nice to have, experience in banking. Independence in completing tasks. Proactiveness.
