Software Test Engineer on a smart household appliances program, responsible for test case design, execution, defect tracking, and automating tests with Python in CI/CD pipelines for embedded and cloud software.

Project description

Our client, a leading manufacturer of high-end household appliances, is expanding into new smart product lines. As part of this strategic initiative, a large-scale global program is being implemented across the company's IP portfolio. This includes the development of new embedded software, enhancements to cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • "Perform tasks within agreed timeframe and according to design\functional spec. Completely accountable for quality and timely delivery of own tasks. Test cases creation based on requirements/SW architecture Build up test environment Test cases execution, report test results and feature status Test case logs/results reporting, defects registering (defects tracking system) Defects verification/validation/reproduction Make test-design decisions according to Test Plan/Strategy and requirements. Automate tests and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines. Perform integration and regression testing"

SKILLS

Must have

  • "Degree in computer science or a comparable field Solid understanding of testing SW systems in at least one field (embedded, backend or mobile) Few years of experience with test automation Python - intermediate or higher Few years of experience with CI/CD pipelines (Bamboo, Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps) Few years of experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) Few years of experience working with agile teams (e.g. Scrum, Kanban) Team-player having very good communication skills Self-organized and highly collaborative"
