El rol

Como Regulatory Affairs Coordinator para Ecuador, serás el referente regulatorio del mercado y acompañarás al negocio para convertir requisitos técnicos y normativos en decisiones claras y viables. Trabajarás de forma cercana con R&D, Calidad, Marketing, Supply Chain y Legal para habilitar innovaciones, proteger la continuidad del portafolio y asegurar el cumplimiento de productos locales e importados.

Tus responsabilidades

- Liderar las evaluaciones regulatorias de productos y proyectos de helados para Ecuador, incluyendo formulaciones, ingredientes, etiquetado y materiales de empaque.

- Gestionar los registros y notificaciones sanitarias de productos de fabricación local e importados, asegurando el cumplimiento de los requisitos aplicables.

- Definir posiciones regulatorias y brindar asesoramiento sobre claims, comunicaciones de producto, publicidad y marketing.

- Monitorear cambios normativos, evaluar su impacto en el portafolio y coordinar las acciones necesarias para su implementación.

- Representar a Regulatory Affairs en proyectos de innovación, aportando evaluaciones de riesgo y recomendaciones que faciliten decisiones oportunas.

- Actuar como referente técnico-regulatorio para R&D, Calidad, Marketing, Supply Chain, Legal, Comercio Exterior y otras áreas del negocio.

- Realizar evaluaciones de riesgo regulatorio y emitir recomendaciones técnicas para apoyar la toma de decisiones del negocio.

- Representar a The Magnum Ice Cream Company ante cámaras y asociaciones industriales relevantes, y coordinar consultores o expertos externos cuando sea necesario.

Buscamos a alguien que

• Cuente con formación en Farmacia, Química, Ingeniería Química, Ingeniería de Alimentos, Ciencia de los Alimentos, Ciencias Biológicas o áreas afines, y con al menos 2–3 años de experiencia en Asuntos Regulatorios, idealmente en alimentos y bebidas, consumo masivo u otra industria regulada.

• Aporte conocimiento sólido de la regulación de alimentos en Ecuador y experiencia evaluando formulaciones, ingredientes, etiquetado, materiales de empaque, claims y registros sanitarios.

• Tenga pensamiento analítico, criterio técnico y visión end-to-end para identificar riesgos, evaluar alternativas y transformar requisitos regulatorios en acciones claras para el negocio.

• Se sienta cómodo/a trabajando con autonomía en una organización ágil y en constante evolución, gestionando simultáneamente proyectos, registros y cambios normativos.

• Valore la colaboración, la claridad y formas de trabajo sin egos; pueda influir en equipos multifuncionales y comunicarse en español e inglés avanzado con equipos locales, regionales y globales.
