Regulatory Compliance Officer

You will support daily compliance and risk operations, with a focus on AML/CFT onboarding, transaction monitoring, and client record-keeping. You will review KYC documentation, prepare files for onboarding committee meetings, assess alerts, and submit suspicious activity reports under validation. You will help maintain procedures and documentation, improve compliance tools, translate regulatory requirements into scalable controls, and support compliance matters relating to CASP and Payment Institution licences.

Responsibilities

  • Handle the end-to-end onboarding process, including data collection, KYC review, and preparation of client files for internal review and onboarding committee meetings
  • Conduct ongoing due diligence, including KYC refreshes and risk reassessments
  • Execute first-level alert reviews and monitoring tasks using Chainalysis, Dotfile, and GAE
  • Prepare and submit suspicious activity reports to TRACFIN via ERMES under validation
  • Participate in configuring, testing, and improving compliance tools
  • Update internal procedures and compliance documentation
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects that translate regulatory requirements into business processes and controls
  • Carry out regular compliance checks on newly added crypto addresses and bank accounts
  • Support ad hoc compliance and operational risk projects
  • Support monitoring of regulatory requirements and developments related to CASP and Payment Institution licences

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of MiCA, AMLD5, AMLD6, and DSP2
  • Understanding of AML/CFT, market abuse, and conflicts of interest
  • Familiarity with crypto and fintech risk
  • Experience with or willingness to learn Comply Advantage, Chainalysis, and Dotfile
  • Ability to follow structured processes and checklists
  • Ability to handle sensitive documentation and data
  • Ability to identify missing information and inconsistencies
  • Ability to maintain organized records and version tracking
  • Master's degree in a related field
  • 3–5 years of compliance or risk experience in a relevant organization
  • Hands-on AML/CFT experience in onboarding, screening, transaction monitoring, fraud, and conflicts of interest
  • Fluency in French and English at C2 level
