Regulatory & Controls Manager (Contract till 26 Jul 2027)
Key Responsibilities:
•Regulatory Tracking & Submissions: Monitor regulatory developments relevant to Anchor, maintain a regulatory obligations register, and coordinate timely preparation and submission of required regulatory deliverables and responses.
•Compliance Liaison: Act as the interface between the program team and Compliance/Legal functions, ensuring all workstream activities adhere to applicable regulations, internal policies, and audit requirements.
•Regulatory Reporting: Produce accurate and timely regulatory packs, track open regulatory actions to closure, and support preparation for regulatory examinations or reviews.
•Governance Framework Management: Maintain and administer the Anchor governance framework, including committee calendars, terms of reference, meeting minutes, action logs, and decision registers across all governance forums.
• Controls & Assurance Monitoring: Support the design and monitoring of program controls, track control effectiveness, and coordinate with Risk and Internal Audit to ensure governance standards are consistently upheld.
•Documentation & Policy Management: Own the central repository of program governance documentation, ensuring version control, accessibility, and alignment with enterprise policy standards.
Job Requirements
•Product Knowledge: Understanding of OTC derivatives products across major asset classes and their trade lifecycle
•G20 financial regulatory reform with an emphasis on transaction level reporting
•More than 12 years of relevant experience in financial industry within Regulatory space, Derivatives Operations, Project Management or Business Analysis
•Previous experience delivering solutions to APAC Regulatory requirements, such as trade reporting in major APAC jurisdictions (ASIC, MAS, HKMA)
•Prior industry exposure representing a financial institution facing regulators, industry bodies, solution providers and vendors.
•Proven experience managing large scale data quality or process improvement initiatives
•Project management qualifications or proven experience applying project management methodologies (PMP / PRINCE2 / Lean Sigma / SDLC / Agile)
•Communication: Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation) and ability to liaise with large global multi-function departments. Strong negotiation, co-ordination skills, and ability to manage stakeholders of varying seniority and experience, across cultures and geographies.
•Organization: Strong time management, organization, and multi-tasking skills. Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities along with a desire to work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines. Motivated self-starter with the ability to prioritize competing requirements.
•Analytical: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, good attention to detail.
•Interpersonal: Strong interpersonal skills; able to develop relationships both internally and externally to collaborate effectively. Ability to lead and influence stakeholders across reporting lines
•Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of Power Point, Excel and Visio preferred, SQL / VBA an advantage
