About your new role | He korero whakamarama mo tenei turanga:
As a Better Days Community-Based Physiotherapist, your day could include:
- Completing assessments with clients in the community to determine the most appropriate programme for their needs.
- Broadening your clinical experience, adding to your skillset, and engaging with a wide variety of clinical presentations across the week.
- Primarily Injury rehabilitation programs – coworking with Better Day’s tightknit team of, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and other IDT team members
- Achieving realistic KPIs in a manageable and sustainable daily workflow – control over your own diary
- Visiting a variety of people in their homes or seeing clients in a clinic space, to assess their needs, design appropriate rehab plans, and advocate on their behalf. You may work with clients with a range of conditions including neurological conditions, orthopaedic conditions and many more.
- Collaborating with your interdisciplinary team to share knowledge and ideas.
- Reporting as required for external stakeholders.
- Celebrating “Wins” with your clients, their whānau, your colleagues, and your supportive Leadership Team.
- Attending fortnightly team hui in person at our Ellerslie office and regular connection with the team
- Attending formal and informal opportunities for networking and learning and development both in New Zealand and Australia.
- You are passionate about making a real difference!
- You have tertiary qualifications in Physiotherapy and are registered with the Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand (PBNZ)
- You must have 3+ years experience working as a Physiotherapist – ideally in rehabilitation settings (community, clinic, or hospital-based)
- You ideally have experience with ACC injury and assessment contracts
- You embody Better Days’ values and are committed to Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
- You are open to travelling throughout Auckland
- You have your own car and a valid full, clean driver’s license.
- You can provide evidence of your right to work in New Zealand
