Job Summary
You will apply your expertise in steel and reinforcement work to execute construction tasks effectively while leading and training new workers. You will interpret structural drawings, coordinate with clients and subcontractors, and manage reporting and documentation to support project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Apply steel and reinforcement knowledge to execute construction tasks accurately and safely on site
- Lead fieldwork activities and deliver training sessions to onboard and develop new workers, ensuring skill transfer and compliance with safety standards
- Interpret and analyze structural drawings to guide construction processes and ensure alignment with project specifications
- Coordinate communication and collaboration with clients and subcontractors to facilitate smooth project execution and resolve issues promptly
- Prepare detailed bar bending schedules and bar detailing documentation to support construction planning and quality control
- Compile and prepare bills of quantity to assist in project budgeting and resource allocation
- Arrange and coordinate inspections with relevant authorities or stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards
- Report progress, challenges, and outcomes to management to support informed decision-making and project oversight
