Relationship Manager
You will own partner bank relationships from post-signing through onboarding, go-live, and steady-state operations. You will run governance meetings, manage onboarding and ongoing obligations, coordinate escalations with help desk and engineering, communicate with bank stakeholders, and bring partner priorities, performance insights, and operational realities into product and release planning.
Responsibilities
- Own partner bank relationships across onboarding, go-live, and steady-state operations
- Run executive, operational, and working-group governance touchpoints
- Serve as the senior escalation contact for partner banks
- Lead partner banks from post-signing through go-live
- Manage onboarding and readiness checklists
- Oversee partner obligations under network rules and signed agreements
- Coordinate escalations and incidents with help desk and engineering
- Bring partner priorities and constraints into product and release planning
- Translate performance data, metrics, and exception trends into actionable insights
- Shape the onboarding and partner-services playbook
Requirements
- U.S.-based with ability to travel
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 7+ years in payments, banking, or financial technology infrastructure
- Significant experience as a client-facing point of contact
- Working knowledge of large-value payment systems and network rulebooks such as FedNow, RTP, CHIPS, or SWIFT
- Knowledge of SLAs, liquidity rules, and exception handling
- Experience running structured programs for complex financial institutions
- Experience with contractual oversight, commercial management, and change control in regulated environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with tokenized deposits, stablecoins, shared-ledger payment networks, blockchain technology, or cryptocurrency is a significant plus
