Your Mission

The Relationship Manager is responsible for managing our top tier merchants in LatAm with the objective of building and maintaining strong win-win relationships. The Relationship Management role acts as a single point of contact for the customer and liaising collaboratively across a variety of internal areas. The primary objectives are to build relationships, maintain client satisfaction levels, add value for our clients, develop Nuvei’s footprint in the region and increase revenue for Nuvei through supporting our partners with our vast product suite. The role will be a mixture of home, office based and face-to-face meeting with merchants in their HQ.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Engage others and develop strong and productive working relationships at all levels within an organization.
  • Passionate about profoundly understanding and driving enterprise merchants, presenting business reviews, launching projects and finding new ways to support the merchant's growth and solve their pain points.
  • Skilled in leveraging your business acumen and analytical abilities to strategically assess and help reach merchant’s goals
  • Comfortable synthesizing complex data sets and using data to tell a compelling story
  • Excited to prioritize and manage multiple projects across different departments, while motivating and collaborating with others to achieve measurable results.
  • Ability to understand and anticipate clients existing and future needs in depth and develop compelling solutions to meet client needs
  • Bring fresh insight to clients business that will help them deliver a competitive advantage in their industry through increasing their performance/revenue and satisfaction
  • Develop and own joint strategies that are mutually beneficial to the merchant and Nuvei
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships through amongst other things, undertaking of client visits and completion of quarterly business reviews.
  • On occasion, oversee the integration of clients to Nuvei platform, while working closely with the technical team to discuss the development of new features for merchants.
  • Achieving targets and goals while continually reviewing individual client account management plans.
  • Forecasts and track client account metrics.
  • Analyze transactional data to improve customers performance across all areas of their business.
  • Identifies opportunities to grow business with existing clients.
  • Coordinates with internal functional to ensure consistent service.
  • Collaborates with sales team where appropriate to reach prospective clients.
  • Positioned as an expert payments advisor, keeping abreast of ongoing changes. regulation and competitive overview.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in a relationship management role with significant client-focused solutions experience.
  • Strong payments industry experience
  • C-suite communication and management skills
  • Knowledge, experience within the travel industry (desired)
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in data analytics
  • Proven project management skills
  • Highly motivated team player
  • Creative thinker with a goals-oriented perspective
  • Independent, self-motivator, entrepreneurial
  • Full professional written and verbal proficiency in English and Portuguese (Spanish desired)
  • Availability to travel
  • Based in Colombia
