POSITION PURPOSE
The Relationship Manager – SEA Intermediary is responsible for driving the growth and development of T. Rowe Price’s intermediary business across Southeast Asia, with a primary focus on Singapore.
The role will:
Provide dedicated client coverage focused on driving asset and revenue growth across T. Rowe Price funds and investment strategies.
Hold primary coverage responsibility for Financial Advisor Groups and Insurance Partners, with secondary coverage across Private Banks and Consumer Banks in Singapore.
Manage and deepen existing strategic distribution relationships while identifying and developing new business opportunities.
Build trusted relationships with gatekeepers, investment consultants, and distribution teams,
Strengthen T. Rowe Price’s positioning across strategic partners.
Work collaboratively with the SEA Intermediary team and internal partners to deliver strategic commercial outcomes.
Key performance indicators include net and gross flows, pipeline development, and client engagement.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Coverage & Business Development
Manage assigned distribution relationships, developing a strong understanding of each partner’s business, investment priorities, distribution model, and client needs.
Develop and execute account plans to drive asset growth, increase flows, and expand T. Rowe Price’s presence with Financial Advisor Groups and Insurance partners.
Position T. Rowe’s funds and investment strategies based on client needs and business priorities.
Identify and develop new business opportunities through prospecting, market mapping, industry engagement, and relationship development.
Conduct client and prospect meetings, presentations, and other engagement activities to support commercial objectives.
Market & Strategic Relationships
Develop relationships with key industry influencers and stakeholders across the SEA intermediary and wealth management landscape.
Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, competitor activity, regulatory developments, and evolving distributor and end-client needs.
Represent T. Rowe Price at relevant client meetings, conferences, industry events, and other external engagements.
Team & Internal Partnership
Work closely with the broader SEA Intermediary team to grow and defend the business across the region, sharing market intelligence and coordinating strategic client activity.
Partner with Investments, Product Management, Client Service, Client Reporting, Marketing and Communications teams to deliver a high-quality client experience and support commercial growth.
Actively contribute to sales meetings, pipeline reviews, account planning, and regional strategy development.
Maintain appropriate sales discipline and ensure activities comply with applicable regulatory requirements and T. Rowe Price policies.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES / SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
Approximately 3–5 years of relevant experience in asset management, wealth management, financial services, or a related field.
Good understanding of the SEA intermediary and wealth distribution landscape, particularly Singapore.
Experience with Financial Advisor Groups and/or Insurance Partners is preferred; exposure to Private Banks and Consumer Banks is beneficial.
Understanding of investment products, intermediary distribution, and fund selection processes.
Strong commercial and relationship-management skills with the ability to identify opportunities and develop trusted client relationships.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate investment strategies and propositions effectively.
Collaborative, proactive, and self-motivated, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
