Relationship Manager - Secured Direct

Job Summary**

The Relationship Manager - Secured Direct is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of secured direct clients, building strong relationships, and ensuring their financial needs are met through tailored product offerings and exceptional service.

Job Responsibilities**

* Develop and maintain strong, lasting relationships with a portfolio of secured direct clients, acting as their primary point of contact.
* Proactively identify client financial needs and cross-sell appropriate secured direct products and services (e.g., mortgages, secured loans, asset-backed financing).
* Conduct thorough financial analysis and due diligence for new and existing clients to assess creditworthiness and identify suitable solutions.
* Prepare and present compelling proposals to clients, outlining product features, benefits, and terms.
* Negotiate terms and conditions of secured direct financial products in line with company policies and risk appetite.
* Monitor client accounts, ensuring timely repayments and adherence to agreed-upon terms.
* Collaborate with internal teams, including credit, legal, and operations, to ensure seamless client service and product delivery.
* Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes within the secured direct lending landscape.
* Achieve individual and team sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the secured direct portfolio.
* Manage client expectations and resolve any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.

Job Qualifications**

* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in relationship management, preferably within secured lending or direct sales to businesses/high-net-worth individuals.
* Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing a client portfolio.
* Strong understanding of secured direct lending products, credit analysis, and risk management principles.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
* Ability to build rapport and trust with clients quickly and effectively.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Proficiency in financial software and CRM systems.
* Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Relevant industry certifications (e.g., in finance or lending) are a plus.
