Relationship Manager - Secured Direct

Job Summary**

As a Relationship Manager - Secured Direct, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of secured direct loan customers, building strong relationships, and identifying new business opportunities to achieve sales targets.

Job Responsibilities**

* Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with a portfolio of secured direct loan clients, understanding their financial needs and providing tailored solutions.
* Proactively identify and pursue new business development opportunities within the secured direct lending space to expand the client base and increase market share.
* Conduct thorough financial analysis and due diligence for loan applications, ensuring adherence to credit policies and risk parameters.
* Prepare and present compelling loan proposals to clients, clearly outlining terms, conditions, and benefits.
* Negotiate loan terms, interest rates, and collateral requirements to secure profitable and mutually beneficial agreements.
* Monitor client portfolio performance, identifying potential risks and proactively addressing any issues to maintain asset quality.
* Collaborate effectively with internal departments, including credit, legal, and operations, to ensure seamless client service and efficient loan processing.
* Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes within the secured lending industry.
* Achieve individual and team sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Ensure compliance with all relevant banking regulations and internal policies.

Job Qualifications**

* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in relationship management within the banking or financial services sector, with a strong focus on secured lending.
* Proven track record of successfully managing and growing a client portfolio and achieving sales targets.
* In-depth knowledge of secured lending products, credit principles, and risk assessment.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CIB, CFA) are a plus.
