Relationship Manager
Job Overview
Manage relationships with large corporate clients, provide tailored banking solutions, and drive business growth through effective relationship and portfolio management.
Responsibilities:
1. Client Relationship Management
Manage and develop relationships with large corporate clients.
Understand clients’ business needs and provide suitable corporate banking solutions.
Maintain strong client engagement and identify opportunities to deepen relationships.
2. Business Development
Identify new business and cross-selling opportunities across banking products.
Develop client strategies to grow business and strengthen existing relationships.
3. Credit Assessment
Prepare credit proposals and financial assessments in line with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Analyze clients’ financial performance, creditworthiness, repayment capacity, and key business risks.
Structure appropriate credit facilities based on client requirements and the Bank’s risk parameters.
4. Portfolio and Risk Management
Manage and monitor an assigned portfolio of large corporate clients.
Monitor financial performance, credit exposures, covenants, and emerging risks.
Support periodic credit reviews, renewals, and amendments of existing facilities.
5. Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with Credit, Risk, Compliance, Operations, and Product teams to structure and execute client solutions.
Coordinate internal stakeholders to ensure timely credit approvals and transaction execution.
6. Market and Industry Analysis
Monitor market trends, industry developments, regulatory changes, and competitor activities.
Incorporate relevant market and industry insights into client strategies and credit assessments.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Banking, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of relevant Corporate Banking or Relationship Management experience.
Experience managing large corporate clients.
Strong knowledge of corporate banking products and credit assessment.
Strong financial analysis, credit writing, and portfolio management skills.
Excellent relationship management, communication, and negotiation skills.
Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify business opportunities.
Proficient in written and spoken English.
