Builds SME loan pipelines and mobilizes deposits for a microfinance bank through customer visits, relationship management, and sales of banking products.

We are seeking a smart, result-driven, and customer-focused Relationship Officer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for SME loan sourcing, deposit mobilization, customer relationship management, and business development activities.

Job Responsibilities

* Source and manage SME loan customers.
* Mobilize deposits and grow the bank's customer base.
* Ensure satisfactory service delivery to all customers and address their inquiries promptly.
* Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
* Conduct customer visits and business assessments.
* Follow up on loan repayments and ensure portfolio quality.
* Adhere to standard operating procedures and business practices.
* Achieve established performance targets within the specific time frame.
* Work with the team to develop and implement a business development plan to improve deposits.
* Meet assigned targets and quota in deposit mobilization and other assigned tasks.
* Promote the bank's products and services.

Requirements

* B.Sc. Degree / HND in a relevant field.
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in banking, microfinance o related role.
* Prior experience as an SME lending and deposit mobilization officer in a financial institution.
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
* Target-driven and able to work with minimal supervision.
