Release Engineer

Summary

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Python autotests for a global fintech/crypto platform, automating releases and troubleshooting deployments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Automation & Scripting: Write and maintain Python autotests and scripts to automate builds, package installations, and environment promotions;
  • CI/CD Management: Build, monitor, and optimize continuous integration and delivery pipelines;
  • Release Coordination: Work with software and QA teams to schedule, test, and execute smooth product releases with low risk;
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and fix deployment failures, build errors, and rollback issues quickly.

We will be a perfect match if:

  • You understand testing methodology & test design techniques;
  • You are skilled at the development & support of backend autotests using Pytest;
  • You have confident knowledge of Python (2+ years);
  • You have basic knowledge of HTTP, HTTPS, WebSocket and NATS (or RabbitMQ, Kafka);
  • You have confident knowledge of using databases (Postgres, MySQL, Redis, ClickHouse);
  • You are familiar with Jira, Allure, Confluence;
  • You have working experience with Git, Postman, Jenkins, Docker.
