Release Manager

We are seeking a skilled Release Manager to oversee the release management process within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in release/change governance, risk and issue management, and configuration management. This role is critical in ensuring that software releases are delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with business objectives. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and coordinate the release management process, ensuring that all releases are planned, scheduled, and executed effectively. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks associated with releases. - Implement and maintain configuration management processes to ensure the integrity of software releases. - Utilize Python and SQL for automation and reporting purposes, enhancing the efficiency of release processes. - Provide production support and troubleshoot issues that arise during the release cycle. - Develop and maintain documentation related to release processes and configurations. Required Skills: - Strong understanding of release/change governance principles. - Proficiency in risk and issue management practices. - Experience with configuration management tools and methodologies. - Solid programming skills in Python and SQL. - Familiarity with batch operations and production support. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with various stakeholders. This position is based in Tamil Nadu or Andhra Pradesh and requires a proactive individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
