Release manager
Job Description
- 3+ years experience in release and/or project management.
- Good knowledge and practical experience with software development processes
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams toward task completion
- Good relationship management
- Experience in dependency and risk management
- Experience in project planning, reporting
- Very proficient in English.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Job Responsibilities
As a release manager, you will be responsible for
- Detailed Release Planning according to established processes and based on inputs from Customer, Project manager, Development, and QA teams.
- Maintain Project Release Plan to keep it consistent with process changes and ongoing releases.
- Track project execution and open working items, issues.
- Prepare status reports and drive regular Release Status Meetings.
- Maintain the project documentation library and document approval flows. Control document quality, stakeholders list, etc. (Documents are being prepared by respective roles and its content being reviewed by stakeholders)
- Lead and coordinate project team activities
- Maintain risk and issue registers, Quality improvement plan.
- Control that team is following the processes.
