Release Manager

Join an international team delivering cutting-edge software solutions for one of the world's leading automotive brands. As part of the European R&D center, you will contribute to the development of next-generation technologies for premium electric and hybrid vehicles.

We are looking for an experienced Release Engineer who will take ownership of release planning, delivery coordination, and CI/CD process improvements, working closely with Development, QA, and DevOps teams.

Your responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end software release activities.

  • Create and maintain release plans and schedules.

  • Define, improve, and enforce release management processes and best practices.

  • Coordinate release-related activities across engineering teams.

  • Automate and optimize the software release process.

  • Monitor and report release quality and code quality KPIs.

  • Define strategies for generating, storing, and maintaining build artifacts.

  • Contribute to Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines.

  • Optimize build systems together with DevOps and CI teams.

  • Coordinate release activities across multiple projects and Release Managers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Release Engineer or DevOps Engineer.

  • Strong hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD.

  • Extensive knowledge of Git and version control workflows.

  • Experience with static code analysis tools.

  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and engineering best practices.

  • Experience working in Agile environments.

  • Experience with Jira and Confluence.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Upper-Intermediate (B2+) English.

Nice to have

  • Experience in the Automotive industry.

  • Knowledge of Automotive Software Development Life Cycle standards.

  • Experience with Location-Based Services.
