Release Manager – Software & Configuration Management

Concept Solutions, LLC (CS) is seeking a Release Manager – Software & Configuration Management to support a mission-critical application modernization program for a Department of War (DoW) customer.

This program focuses on modernizing and unifying access across a portfolio of production applications, creating a single sign-on experience, a shared work environment, and a repeatable approach to integrating applications onto a common platform.

The Release Manager will coordinate software releases, configuration management, change control, and deployment documentation across both existing applications and the evolving platform. The ideal candidate brings experience supporting enterprise software releases in federal environments and understands the importance of disciplined release planning, version control, and operational continuity.

• Release and Configuration Management
• Maintain the customer-approved release calendar for existing production applications and the modernization platform.
• Coordinate change control activities and rollback plans to support reliable software releases.
• Manage software versioning, release notes, and milestone reporting associated with each release.
• Ensure the customer repository remains accurate and current at the conclusion of every sprint.
• Support release coordination across sustained applications and the shared platform while maintaining operational continuity.
