Release Manager

The opportunity

The Release Manager is responsible for planning, scheduling and controlling the build, test and deployment releases and for delivering new functionality required by the business while protecting the integrity of existing services.

Day-to-day responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Release Manager are :

  • Define the scope and prepare the next platform releases,
  • Coordinate the release deployment and the complete validation on each tests environment,
  • Organize release and change delivery in production environments,
  • Coordinate the technical requirements deliveries
  • In relationship with all stakeholders involved: Solution teams, E2E test team, PS Integration & Production support team, Customer Project teams, management, change managers/CABs, …
  • Support production support team on hot fixes and workaround deliveries required for production
  • Support project teams to the organization of their deliveries
  • Support production services to the organization of infrastructure maintenance and upgrade
  • Participate to release calendar definition, release management process improvements, evolutions and automation. Manage some of the related projects.

Who are we looking for

  • Experimented profile, with broad technical skills (java application development & production support, db, system, network, security) and strong experiences in development and production/platform management and/or integration (+5 years)
  • Good communication and facilitator skills
  • Experience in project management required
  • Good knowledge on ITIL release and change management processes
  • Languages: fluent in English
  • Supportive, positive, persistent, empathic
  • GCM level : 4 / 5
