Release Train Engineer with SAP S/4HANA experience
Summary
Supports an S/4HANA Brownfield Conversion by facilitating SAFe processes, managing Azure DevOps, and orchestrating the program backlog and dependencies for cross-functional teams.
On behalf of a client, we are looking for a Release Train Engineer to support an S/4HANA Programme.
The role focuses on aiding the entire programme team, including the implementation partner, in executing the S/4HANA Brownfield Conversion. This involves preparing and facilitating quarterly planning sessions, building and managing the Azure DevOps (ADO) structure, handling capacity bookings from the existing organization, and managing dependencies both within and outside the programme organization. The RTE will work on both team and programme levels.
Key Responsibilities
Orchestrating the programme backlog with the chosen implementation partner
Preparing and facilitating quarterly planning sessions
Working with the tracks to optimize results, ensure transparent backlogs, and help create flow
Escalating impediments and managing risks related to backlog execution
Securing timely allocations from surrounding organizations and business lines
Handling potential events and travel arrangements
Key Requirements:
You are an experienced pragmatic leader with attention to detail and a structured approach, accompanied by relevant Agile and/or project management certifications
3+ years of proven RTE working experience in a SAFe context
Proficient with Azure DevOps, Miro, and agile tools
Strong facilitation and servant leadership mindset
Extensive experience working with cross-functional and international teams
Extensive experience with stakeholder management and organizational change management
Previous experience with SAP / S/4 HANA implementation programmes is highly beneficial
