Remediation Project Manager

The Environmental Construction Department at LaBella provides a full range of environmental contracting services including remediation services, environmental and geotechnical drilling, remediation system design, installation, and O&M, petroleum bulk storage compliance, maintenance, closure, and installation services, and ecological construction & restoration services.

We are seeking a Remediation Project Manager in our Lancaster, NY office. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing remediation and investigation projects including remedial excavations, transportation and disposal, test pit excavations, earthwork and other similar work. Experience managing assignments under NYSDC standby contracts or USEPA oversight or funding is preferred.

Duties:

  • Managing scope, schedule, and budget for tasks including tank closures, remedial excavations, test pit investigations, remedial treatment systems and other field work
  • Oversees staff working on projects to ensure work is done within scope and budget
  • Client and regulatory correspondence and project reporting
  • Preparing cost estimates and proposals
  • Working effectively with project teams, clients, and all other stakeholders
  • Coordinating work schedules with LaBella staff and subcontractors
  • Coordinates with corporate and project-level safety and quality management staff to ensure all projects are conducted in accordance with applicable safety and quality standards
  • Existing and new client development
  • Requires limited travel for field visits

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive, relevant experience
  • Satisfactory track record of successful Project Management, Business Development and Client Management
  • Effective interpersonal, communication and time management skills.
  • Organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • 40 Hour HAZWOPER training
  • Knowledgeable in OSHA and DOT regulations
  • Valid NYS driver’s license with clean driving record

Salary Range: $60,000 - $90,000

The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
