You will be doing:
- Design, develop and maintain automated tests (UI and API) for web and mobile applications using Python, pytest and Playwright
- Build and automate API tests with requests when needed
- Integrate and maintain automated tests in CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar)
- Perform functional and non-functional, integration, regression and usability testing (manual testing as a supporting activity with automation as the core focus)
- Identify, record and report bugs to the development team, and verify bug fixes
- Create and maintain comprehensive test cases and testing documentation (test suites, test cases, checklists, testing instructions, etc.)
- Analyze and document product features and business requirements
- Refine and improve the testing and test automation process
- Cooperate closely with the Dev, QA Lead and team members to clarify system requirements
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
Your expertise to meet the requirement:
- 3+ years of experience in test automation for web and mobile applications
- Strong hands-on experience with Python and pytest
- Solid experience with Playwright for UI automation
- Experience in API testing automation (e.g. requests)
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines - GitHub Actions or equivalent
- Experience in manual testing of mobile and web applications
- Experience in creating and maintaining testing documentation
- Hands-on experience with Git
- Profound knowledge and understanding of the SDLC
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies and processes
- Proficient in Russian and intermediate in English
Nice to have: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
