Remote Blockchain Full Stack Developer

About the Role

Our client is a rapidly growing decentralized finance (DeFi) startup seeking a highly motivated and experienced Remote Blockchain Full Stack Developer to join their fully remote team. This role is critical to building and scaling their innovative platform. You will be responsible for both front-end and back-end development, with a strong emphasis on blockchain integration, smart contracts, and decentralized application (dApp) development. As a fully remote employee, you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere, contributing to a global team. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable smart contracts on platforms like Ethereum (Solidity) and other relevant blockchains.
• Build and integrate user-facing decentralized applications (dApps) using modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular).
• Design and implement robust back-end services and APIs to support blockchain functionalities.
• Connect front-end applications to blockchain networks using libraries like Web3.js or Ethers.js.
• Implement security best practices in both smart contract and application code.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and user experience.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers in an agile, remote-first setting.
• Participate in code reviews, contributing to team knowledge sharing and code quality.
• Research and integrate new blockchain technologies and tools to enhance the platform.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and technical issues across the full stack.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in full-stack development, with a significant focus on blockchain technologies.
• Proficiency in smart contract development (Solidity preferred) and understanding of the EVM.
• Strong experience with front-end development frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular).
• Solid understanding of back-end development (Node.js, Python, Go, etc.) and API design.
• Experience with Web3 libraries (Web3.js, Ethers.js) for blockchain interaction.
• Familiarity with distributed systems, cryptography, and blockchain consensus mechanisms.
• Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• A passion for decentralized technologies and the Web3 ecosystem.
• Ability to self-manage time and tasks effectively in a remote setting.
