Remote CAD Automation Engineer - Python + AI

Hermes Corporate is seeking a CAD Automation Engineer to join an innovative automation project focused on software solutions integrated with professional CAD platforms. You will design and develop automation tools that interact with CAD environments, process structured geometric data, and support intelligent feature recognition.

Develop and maintain CAD automation tools and workflows using Python. Integrate, customize, and extend CAD platforms through APIs, preferably NX Open or equivalent CAD frameworks. Design and implement algorithms for geometric analysis, feature recognition, and pattern matching. Process and analyze geometric and parametric data structures to extract engineering parameters and insights. Build scalable backend services and automation pipelines for engineering applications. Optimize performance and efficiency of geometry-intensive computations. Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Contribute to the integration of AI/ML techniques for classification, recognition, and intelligent automation use cases. Ensure software quality through testing, documentation, and continuous improvement practices. Strong Python development experience. Hands-on CAD automation and CAD APIs (NX Open preferred). Solid understanding of computational geometry and geometry processing. Experience developing algorithmic, data-processing, or engineering software systems. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment. Fully remote
