About the role
Joboraai Solutions is seeking a talented Remote Contract Full-Stack Developer to join our dynamic technology team. Key responsibilities
Design and develop responsive, user-friendly frontend interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks and technologies
Build and maintain scalable backend systems using appropriate server-side languages and frameworks
Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code that adheres to industry best practices and coding standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and other developers to translate requirements into technical solutions
Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing within the team
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise applications to ensure optimal performance and user experience
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from planning and development through testing, deployment, and maintenance
Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in full-stack development and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Manage databases, APIs, and integrations to ensure seamless data flow across applications
What we're looking for
Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer or similar role, with a portfolio demonstrating your work across frontend and backend technologies
Strong proficiency in frontend technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and experience with modern frameworks (React, Vue.js, or Angular)
Solid backend development experience using languages such as Python, Node.js, Java, PHP, or similar server-side technologies
Expertise in working with databases (both relational and non-relational), SQL, and database design principles
Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and integration patterns
Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git, and experience working in agile development environments
Understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and SOLID principles
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is advantageous
Familiarity with DevOps practices, containerisation (Docker), and CI/CD pipelines is desirable
Knowledge of testing frameworks and practices for both frontend and backend development is beneficial
