Blue Oak Consulting seeks a Data Analyst Assistant for a large-scale engagement with an Italian infrastructure group. The role focuses on interrogating financial assumptions and identifying discrepancies to ensure decisions are backed by evidence rather than narrative.

Cleaning and organizing large datasets to build a clear financial picture. Testing the logic behind pricing assumptions against real-world data. Helping build financial models that track capital allocation across assets. Identifying outliers and anomalies in expenditure reports. Updating portfolio economics trackers with new acquisition data. Collaborating with the team through virtual channels to clarify findings. Preparing summaries of data trends highlighting potential risks. Verifying inputs used in growth forecasts for business units. Degree in finance, economics, mathematics or related data-heavy field. Strong Excel skills and ability to handle large datasets. Experience with financial analysis concepts is a plus.
