This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere within South Africa. You will be integral to designing, developing, and deploying scalable web applications and services that enhance our client's telecommunications offerings. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and user-friendly web applications using modern full-stack technologies. Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for both front-end (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) and back-end (e.g., Node.js, Python/Django, Java/Spring) components. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to define project requirements and technical specifications. Implement database solutions (SQL and No SQL) and optimize database performance. Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality and application stability. Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers. Deploy applications to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and manage CI/CD pipelines. Troubleshoot and debug complex issues across the full stack. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, recommending improvements and new approaches. Requirements Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant projects. Proficiency in at least one modern Java Script framework (React, Angular, Vue.js) and back-end languages/frameworks (Node.js, Python/Django, Java/Spring, Ruby on Rails). Solid understanding of database design and management (e.g., Postgre SQL, My SQL, Mongo DB). Experience with version control systems, particularly Git. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus. Strong understanding of software development principles, including Agile methodologies. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly in a remote setting. Self-disciplined and highly motivated, capable of managing time effectively and meeting deadlines independently. Previous experience in the telecommunications sector is highly advantageous.
