Remote Full-Stack Engineer (Node.js & React)

About the Role

Our client, a globally recognized software solutions provider, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Remote Full-Stack Engineer to join their dynamic and dispersed engineering team. You will be instrumental in developing both the front-end and back-end components of our client's flagship product, utilizing a modern technology stack including Node.js and React. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable back-end services using Node.js and associated frameworks (e.g., Express.js).
• Build responsive and interactive user interfaces using React.js and modern JavaScript.
• Develop and manage RESTful APIs to support application functionality.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and other engineering disciplines.
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and testable code.
• Participate in code reviews, offering constructive feedback to peers and ensuring high code quality standards.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and help shape the future of our client's technology stack.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Proactively identify and implement improvements to the development process and tooling.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Full-Stack Engineer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of web applications.
• Proficiency in Node.js for back-end development, including experience with frameworks like Express.js.
• Strong command of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Extensive experience with React.js for front-end development.
• Solid understanding of database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and ORMs.
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote, asynchronous environment.
• Prior experience working in a fully remote setting is highly advantageous.
