Summary
A 3-month contract for a full-stack developer to build a modern .NET + Angular web application replacing a legacy Access 97 system (POSEOR), including migrating reporting to data from the Central Warning Database and integrating with external systems like EDR/SERWO2. Daily work spans backend .NET APIs, MS SQL Server, and Angular/TypeScript frontend.
- project focused on replacing the existing POSEOR application, currently based on Access 97, with a modern web-based solution
- develop a new application and migrate existing reporting functionality to data provided by the Central Warning Database
- serve as the target source for warning-related data, including ad-hoc, permanent and one-time warnings, provide full data archiving and integration with cooperating systems including EDR/SERWO2
- analysis of existing POSEOR reports, definition of their equivalents in the new solution, preparation of requirements, and implementation of reports based on the new data source
- at least 5 years of professional experience as a backend .NET and frontend Angular developer
- strong knowledge of .NET / .NET 10
- good knowledge of MS SQL Server and SQL
- practical experience in designing and consuming RESTful APIs
- solid knowledge of Angular, TypeScript and JavaScript
- good knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3
- experience in developing responsive layouts and understanding of UX/UI principles
- experience with Git and Git Flow and working with team-based repositories
- knowledge of CI/CD, particularly Azure DevOps
- experience with Jira
- ability to work effectively in a team and prepare technical documentation
