Remote GenAI Software Engineer (Python/AWS)

Amaris Consulting in Italy is seeking a Python-focused AI/Cloud Engineer to join the Information System & Digital team. You will develop innovative GenAI-based solutions, deploy them in scalable architectures, and contribute to shared libraries.

The role emphasizes serverless AWS projects, API exposure, IaC with Terraform, and Docker-based packaging. You will collaborate across teams to spread GenAI culture and interface with business requirements.

Implement Python solutions leveraging generative AI models. Structure cloud projects based on serverless architectures on AWS. Expose solutions via APIs for external systems and clients. Manage CI/CD pipelines and use Docker for packaging and deployment. Design and manage Infrastructure as Code with Terraform. Contribute to the development of shared libraries and frameworks for internal use. Document solutions, share results, and contribute to architectural evolution. Degree in Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or related fields. Proficiency in Python. At least 2 years of experience with generative AI models in real projects. Familiarity with embeddings and semantic search (Pinecone). Experience in designing and implementing APIs. Practical AWS experience, especially serverless services. Experience with Terraform, CI/CD, and Docker. Applied research mindset, experimentation, and rapid prototyping. Ability to work in a team and contribute to shared solutions. English good; Italian fluent or native. Fully remote position in Italy
