Remote/Hybrid Software Engineer — ML for Claims

Prima is seeking a Software Engineer- Machine Learning to join our Engineering team in Italy. You will leverage ML and data analytics to identify risks and opportunities in our claims management platform, turning data into actionable insights.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, write clean, reliable production code, and apply deep learning, computer vision, and generative AI to real-world insurance problems. We offer flexible work arrangement and competitive pay.

Leverage ML and analytics to identify risks and opportunities in the claims platform. Analyze complex data and translate insights into actionable improvements for the business. Collaborate cross-functionally to convert data into intelligence and impact. Write clean, scalable, and reliable software with a software engineering mindset. Strong Python programming with production-ready code and data handling. Hands-on experience with ML libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow) and Pandas/Numpy. Experience deploying ML models and pipelines in production environments. Knowledge of PostgreSQL or similar databases and data modelling.
