Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable backend code using languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js.
• Implement and manage database solutions (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for seamless data exchange.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and stability.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
• Contribute to architectural design discussions and technology decisions.
• Assist in deploying applications to cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Stay abreast of emerging backend technologies and best practices.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Solid understanding of backend development principles and architectures.
• Proficiency in at least one major backend programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#, Node.js).
• Experience with relational databases (SQL) and/or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Understanding of API design principles (RESTful APIs).
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
