Remote Network Security Engineer (Hybrid)

Quik Hire Staffing is seeking a Network Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructure. The role focuses on protecting systems from cyber threats, monitoring traffic, and enforcing security policies across environments.

This is a full-time position with a hybrid work model. You will deploy firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS, conduct security audits and threat analyses, and coordinate with cross‑functional teams to embed security into network architecture.

Design, deploy, and maintain firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems. Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate risks. Monitor network traffic for anomalies and respond to security incidents in real time. Develop and enforce network security policies, standards, and procedures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into network architecture. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in network security engineering or a similar role. Proficiency in configuring and managing security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and firewalls. Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols, and network infrastructure. Experience with penetration testing, threat analysis, and incident response.
