About the Company
Our client is a growing residential cleaning company in the United States. The team includes professional house cleaners, a Field Manager, a General Manager, and a remote support team.

They are looking for a highly organized, experienced Remote Operations Manager who can take ownership of daily operations, solve problems independently, and help run a more efficient business. This role needs to be filled as soon as possible.

This is not an entry-level virtual assistant role. They need someone with experience managing people, coordinating schedules, handling unexpected problems, and making sound operational decisions without constant direction.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruiting and Hiring

Manage the cleaner recruiting pipeline from application through hire
Screen applicants, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate working interviews
Follow up consistently with candidates to avoid delays and missed opportunities
Coordinate with the Field Manager and admin team for smooth onboarding
Track hiring performance and find ways to improve recruiting and retention
2. Scheduling and Daily Operations

Manage and optimize daily and upcoming cleaning schedules
Coordinate cleaner availability, absences, call-offs, and schedule changes
Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts proactively
Work with the Field Manager to arrange coverage when cleaners are unavailable
Maximize cleaner utilization while keeping service reliable for customers
Anticipate staffing shortages before they become urgent
3. Cleaner Communication and Support

Act as the primary remote point of contact for cleaners on scheduling and operational questions
Handle routine attendance, availability, and scheduling concerns
Make sure cleaners get timely, accurate information
Work with the Field Manager on issues that need in-person support, training, or coaching
4. Problem Solving and Escalation

Serve as the first point of escalation for routine operational issues
Investigate problems, make informed decisions, and coordinate resolutions
Handle unexpected situations calmly and efficiently
Escalate only significant or high-risk issues to the General Manager
Spot recurring problems and put solutions in place
5. Process Improvement and Accountability

Maintain organized systems for tasks, communications, and follow-ups
Complete assigned responsibilities accurately and on time
Improve scheduling, recruiting, and communication processes
Report clearly on staffing, recruiting progress, schedule utilization, and open issues
Collaborate with the General Manager, Field Manager, and remote admin team
Required Qualifications

Based in Latin America
Fluent in English and Spanish, written and spoken
3+ years in operations management, dispatch, scheduling, workforce management, or a similar role
Experience owning daily operations in a fast-paced service business
Strong problem-solving, organization, and decision-making skills
Able to manage multiple priorities and resolve unexpected issues
Comfortable taking initiative and making decisions independently
Strong attention to detail and reliable follow-through
Proficient with Google Workspace and modern business software
Available full-time during US Eastern Time business hours
Background We Accept
Home service experience is a plus, but not required. We welcome applicants with operations, scheduling, or team management experience from industries such as:

BPO and call center operations
Property management
Dispatch and logistics
Staffing and workforce management
Other fast-paced, service-based businesses
Strongly Preferred

Experience with US home service businesses (cleaning, HVAC, plumbing, landscaping)
Experience scheduling field employees or technicians
Experience recruiting and hiring hourly employees
Familiarity with scheduling or field service management software
Previous experience supervising staff or leading an operations team
What Success Looks Like
After training, you will independently handle most routine recruiting, scheduling, and cleaner-related issues. You will:

Keep schedules organized and fully staffed
Maintain a steady pipeline of qualified cleaner candidates
Resolve routine issues without pulling in the General Manager
Follow through without reminders
Catch problems early and act before they escalate
Keep improving the efficiency and reliability of operations
Who We’re Looking For
Someone proactive, resourceful, dependable, and comfortable with ownership. When you see a problem, you start solving it instead of waiting to be told.

This is a long-term role with a growing US company for someone who wants real responsibility and a seat on the management team.
