Remote Principal Data Engineer - Cloud ELT & Data Pipelines
Summary
Design and maintain cloud-based ELT/ETL pipelines and data infrastructure to deliver research-ready datasets for a global scientific intelligence team.
About the role
You will join 15 dedicated colleagues within the Client’s Scientific Intelligence department, which offers a centralized hub of external information as well astools and technologies to extract data and insights to users across the Client’s worldwide headquarters and affiliates.
Our purpose is to provide modern digital solutions to the organization and to ensure that researchers have seamless access to quality information sources,state of the art technologies and professional information research services supporting their needs.
Required Skills
- Experience with creating and maintaining ELT/ETL pipelines on cloud infrastructure
- Experience with programming languages like Python and SQL
- Experience working with containers and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes for deployments
- Experience with CI/CD automation
- Experience working in AWS (or Azure)
- Preferably experience working with ElasticSearch
- Preferably experience working with vector databases, e.g. Milvus
