Our client is looking for a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to join their fully remote IT & Software team. This position is focused on designing, building, and maintaining scalable microservices that power their innovative platform. You will be responsible for developing robust APIs, optimizing database performance, and ensuring the overall quality and reliability of the backend systems. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy high-performance, scalable microservices using languages like Go, Java, or Python.
• Build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code for backend systems.
• Develop and manage robust RESTful APIs to support frontend applications and third-party integrations.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define and implement new features.
• Write comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality and system stability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in backend development , with a strong emphasis on microservices architecture .
• Proficiency in one or more backend programming languages such as Go, Java, Python, or Node.js.
• Solid understanding of database technologies, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for writing clean, maintainable code.
