Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy scalable and high-performance backend services using Python and Django. Build and maintain robust RESTful APIs to support frontend applications and third-party integrations. Develop and manage efficient database schemas and queries, primarily with Postgre SQL. Implement and maintain automated testing suites (unit, integration, end-to-end) to ensure code quality and reliability. Collaborate closely with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver features and improvements. Optimize application performance and identify and resolve bottlenecks. Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and upholding coding standards. Contribute to architectural discussions and technology roadmap planning. Ensure the security and integrity of the application and data. Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in a production environment. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 5+ years of professional experience in backend development. Strong proficiency in Python and extensive experience with the Django framework. Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs. Proficient in working with relational databases, particularly Postgre SQL, including schema design and optimization. Familiarity with message queues (e.g., Rabbit MQ, Kafka) is a plus. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Proficiency with version control systems, especially Git. Understanding of microservices architecture is desirable. Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to thrive in a remote team environment. Benefits
