Remote Senior DevOps Engineer - AWS Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and highly available infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Develop and manage robust CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, build, and deployment processes.
• Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement proactive solutions to ensure optimal operation.
• Implement and enforce security best practices across the cloud environment.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize application deployment and operational efficiency.
• Provide on-call support and troubleshoot complex production issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps or SRE roles, with a strong focus on AWS.
• Proven expertise in managing cloud infrastructure, including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, and CloudFormation/Terraform.
• Extensive experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash) and experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Excellent understanding of networking, security, and monitoring principles in a cloud context.
