This role is central to our mission of transforming education through technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using modern frameworks and technologies.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for both front-end (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) and back-end (e.g., Node.js, Python/Django, Java/Spring) development.
  • Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Implement and manage databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and APIs.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and stability.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the full stack.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices in software development and EdTech.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and technology roadmap planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in full-stack web development.
  • Proven expertise in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, modern JS frameworks) and back-end languages/frameworks.
  • Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Proficiency in database design and management (SQL and NoSQL).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
  • Excellent understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and architectural best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, asynchronous environment.
  • Passion for education and a desire to contribute to the EdTech sector is highly desirable.
