Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable backend services and APIs.
• Write clean, efficient, and well‑documented code in languages such as Python, Java, Go, or Node.js.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and designers to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical strategy and roadmaps.
• Implement and optimize database solutions (SQL and NoSQL).
• Develop and maintain automated tests to ensure code quality and application reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in backend software development.
• Expertise in at least one modern backend programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Go, Node.js).
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles and microservices architecture.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Excellent problem‑solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities, crucial for remote collaboration.
• Ability to work independently and manage project timelines effectively.
