韌體驗證工程師 (PSU/CBU) Staff Engineer, Firmware Validation Engineer

The Sr. Staff/Staff Engineer, Firmware Validation Engineer will be based in Taiwan Taipei Wugu Site. These roles perform the responsibility for system design in Tier 1 CSP customer's PSU/CBU (CESS) Projects request.

What a typical day looks like:

• Develop tooling and test plan/case/report to help engineering teams measure and test infrastructure development, supporting product launch
• Develop automation script or application for SW quality validation Cross-function teamwork for issues analysis and debug
• Cross-function teamwork for test case development

• 開發測試工具、測試計畫、測試案例及測試報告，協助研發團隊進行產品驗證，支援新產品開發與上市導入。
• 開發自動化測試腳本或應用程式，提升軟體品質驗證效率與測試覆蓋率。
• 與跨部門團隊合作，進行問題分析、除錯及驗證工作。
• 與研發、系統及測試團隊共同規劃與開發測試案例，確保產品功能與品質符合需求。

The experience we are looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields
• 5+ years of experience in debugging, development, or validation testing of firmware or embedded systems.
• Strong sense of product quality and end-user experience
• Strong interest in automation script/application development and ability to work in a multi-task environment.
• Experience developing test applications for peripherals and connectivity buses (e.g., I2C, SPI, USB, CANbus, Modbus).
• Proven ability to independently analyze communication protocol issues (e.g., PMBus, CANbus) and determine root cause of failures.
• Experience in developing automated test frameworks and scripts for firmware or embedded system validation.
• Capability of independent research and working with new technologies is required.
• Good written and verbal communication skills (in Mandarin and English) is required.

具 I²C、SPI、USB、CAN Bus、Modbus 等周邊裝置及通訊介面測試應用開發經驗。
具獨立分析 PMBus、CAN Bus 等通訊協定問題及進行 Root Cause Analysis（根本原因分析）能力。
具韌體或嵌入式系統自動化測試框架及測試腳本開發經驗。
具備獨立研究及新技術導入能力。
具良好的中英文聽、說、讀、寫能力。

Here are a few of our preferred experiences:

• With strong sense of responsibility
• Firmware validation experience in CBU (Control Board Unit) is a plus.
• Firmware validation experience in PSU (e.g., CRPS, mCRPS) is a plus.
• Experience in power systems or industrial communication protocols is a plus.
• Experience in test automation development using scripting languages (e.g., Python) is a plus.
