Description

About the Role...

At ALP, we bring together talents across logistics operations, automation, technology, real estate, and supply-chain to build smarter warehouses that drive efficiency, resilience, and sustainable growth. As we continue to expand our business and regional presence, we are looking for a proactive and business-minded HR Business Partner (HRBP) to help build the organisation, talent, and capabilities needed for our next stage of growth.

This hands-on role combines strategic HR partnership with end-to-end recruitment ownership, covering the full hiring lifecycle from workforce planning and talent sourcing to offer management and onboarding. You will also drive talent and performance management, support organisational development, and collaborate with colleagues across Southeast Asia on cross-functional and regional initiatives.

What You Will Do...

1. Partner with business leaders to understand business priorities and translate them into workforce plans, hiring priorities, and practical people strategies.

2. Own the full recruitment lifecycle, from role clarification, job description development, and talent sourcing to candidate assessment, offer negotiation, and onboarding. Ensure hiring quality, efficiency, and a positive candidate experience.

3. Develop effective sourcing strategies, proactively engage qualified candidates, build talent pipelines, and continuously improve recruitment effectiveness.

4. Support organisation design, role clarity, workforce allocation, and optimisation to ensure the right structures and capabilities are in place.

5. Support performance goal setting, feedback, and evaluation. Partner with leaders on talent development, succession planning, career growth, and retention.

6. Build trusted relationships with employees and managers, address engagement and retention challenges, and handle employee relations matters with professionalism and sound judgement.

7. Improve HR processes and governance to support regional expansion and IPO readiness.

8. Work with colleagues across group HR team to coordinate cross-functional projects, manage stakeholders and timelines, and drive implementation and measurable outcomes.

Who You Are...

  • 3–5 years of experience in HRBP, HR generalist, or talent acquisition roles, with the ability to manage end-to-end recruitment independently. Experience in recruitment agencies or fast-paced industries such as technology, logistics, engineering, or real estate is an advantage.
  • Business & People Acumen: Understand business priorities and organisational challenges, and translate them into practical HR solutions. Confident in partnering with and constructively challenging business leaders.
  • Proactive & Adaptable: Hands-on, accountable, and comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-growing environment. Demonstrate curiosity, learning agility, and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Collaborative & People-focused: Build trusted relationships, communicate effectively, and balance employee needs with business priorities.
